Daycare Revision Bill Passes Idaho House Committee

[Resent 2011-02-24 02:43:43 from janicemcgeachin] Wednesday at the Capitol: Today, Representative Luker and I presented improvements to the statute relating to the licensing of day care facilities. The House Commerce Committee approved the changes and now the bill will go to the floor of the House for a vote.

HB129 passed the House Commerce and Human Services Committee 9-2, with "small provider" friendly changes to daycare licensing thresholds, simplification of staff / child ratio requirements and better coordination with and deference for city daycare licensing laws.
