Idaho Building Code Bill Passes Senate Panel Unanimously

My bill HB207 strengthening rights for property owners against burdensome building code upgrades unanimously passed the Senate Commerce and Human Resources Committee. In addition to property rights issues, the bill should spur economic growth and jobs by making it less expensive to alter or expand existing structures. The bill now moves to the Senate floor. HB 207 passed the House earlier on a 53-14 vote.
